The ambassador described the humanitarian crisis in Gaza as a tragedy that undermines the credibility of the international order and called for immediate action to ensure a ceasefire and humanitarian access. Pakistan maintains that lasting peace in the Middle East depends on resolving the Palestinian issue and ending foreign occupation.
