The GEOMIN Symposium, the region's largest mining summit, opened in Jeddah, bringing together over 340 experts, industry leaders, and academics from 34 countries. The three-day event, organized by the Saudi Geological Survey and the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, focuses on redefining mineral exploration and its impact across Central Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. Key figures highlighted the Kingdom's commitment to advancing its mineral sector and fostering global collaboration, with more than 100 presentations and sessions planned.
