Greta Thunberg describes 'torture' in Israeli custody, claims suitcase returned to her with 'Whore Greta' written on it

Greta Thunberg has described her experience in Israeli custody as 'torture' following her detention after violating the maritime blockade on Gaza with the Global Sumud Flotilla. In an interview with a Swedish newspaper, Thunberg recounted being dragged, hit, and kicked by guards, and witnessing other detainees being held in harsh conditions. She also shared an image of her suitcase, which was returned to her with offensive graffiti and drawings. Thunberg detailed being held in a crowded outdoor cage in extreme heat, denied water, and threatened by guards, who allegedly mocked and intimidated the detainees. Israeli authorities have denied any mistreatment of Thunberg or other activists.
