The family of Muhammed el-Atrash has found some solace following the return of his body from Gaza, ending two years of painful uncertainty. El-Atrash, a 39-year-old tracker and father of thirteen, was killed during fighting in the Nahal Oz area and his body was taken to Gaza. His brother Nimr expressed relief that the family can now provide him with a proper burial, describing the loss as a difficult ordeal. El-Atrash was remembered as a courageous leader and a central figure for his large family.
