The Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi has unveiled a state-of-the-art upgrade to its race control room ahead of the 2025 motorsport season. The multi-million-dirham renovation introduces advanced smart systems, allowing operators to instantly manage camera feeds, timing systems, and race data with enhanced speed and flexibility. The overhaul also includes new underfloor cabling, integrated sound systems, and a theater-style layout designed for efficiency and comfort during long race weekends.
Officials say the new facility not only meets but exceeds global motorsport standards, providing an optimal environment for overseeing high-stakes events like the Formula One season finale. The upgraded control room debuted during the Yas Racing Series and will play a central role in managing a packed calendar of international racing events throughout 2025 and beyond.
