Israeli security forces have detained around 40 members of a Hamas network in the Bethlehem area of the West Bank, following a series of coordinated arrest raids. The Shin Bet reports that the network was actively planning imminent shooting attacks, with one cell reportedly close to executing its plans. Weapons, including an assault rifle, were seized during the operations. Interrogations revealed that the network's leaders had recruited members, formed terror cells, and acquired weapons with the intention of targeting both security forces and civilians. The Shin Bet states that these arrests have prevented potentially major attacks and significant casualties. The suspects are now set to face charges as the investigation materials have been handed over to Military Prosecution.
