Iran has announced it will block international inspectors from accessing its nuclear sites that were bombed during the recent conflict with Israel, unless a new agreement is reached. Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that cooperation with the United Nations nuclear watchdog is suspended until a concrete deal is made, following accusations of bias and failure to condemn the strikes. The aftermath of the war has also led Iran to invalidate a recent cooperation framework with the agency, after European countries triggered the return of sanctions. Araghchi emphasized that Iran will not negotiate on its missile program and criticized Western demands as harmful to national interests, while expressing willingness to resume talks only on equal terms.
