The Israeli military announced it has killed Alaa Al-Hadidi, a local Hamas commander who was the head of supply in the group's production headquarters. The strike took place during a series of attacks across Gaza on Saturday, which the Israeli government said were in response to a Hamas fighter entering Israeli-controlled territory. According to Israeli officials, five senior Hamas members were killed in the operation. Gaza health authorities reported that at least 20 Palestinians died in the strikes. Hamas has not issued a statement regarding the reported death of Al-Hadidi. Tensions remain high as both sides accuse each other of violating ceasefire agreements.
