Israeli settlers, accompanied by police, entered the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied East Jerusalem, conducting tours and religious rituals. The Jerusalem Governorate reported that 559 settlers entered the site in groups through the Mughrabi Gate. Security measures around the mosque and Old City have been heightened since October 2023.
On the same day, Israeli authorities demolished a shop in Jerusalem and several commercial facilities in the Anab Al-Kabir area near Hebron. The demolitions affected about 20 shops, which local officials say are the main source of income for several families already facing challenging conditions due to ongoing restrictions in the West Bank.
