Dozens of Palestinian couples celebrated their marriages in a mass wedding held among the ruins of Khan Younis, an event sponsored by the United Arab Emirates. The ceremony coincided with the UAE's fifty-fourth National Day, symbolizing hope and resilience amid the destruction caused by the ongoing conflict in Gaza.

The couples, chosen through a lottery as part of a humanitarian initiative, were selected from across the Gaza Strip. Large crowds gathered to celebrate, waving UAE flags and sharing in the joy of the newlyweds. The event aimed to bring happiness to Gaza's residents after months of hardship and loss.
