The military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad in Gaza announced it has found the body of a slain hostage in Beit Lahiya. Hamas stated that the body will be handed over to Israel through the Red Cross at 5:00 p.m. This follows a recent transfer of remains from Gaza to Israel, which were later determined not to belong to any hostages. Gaza-based groups continue to hold the bodies of two deceased hostages, while last week the body of another victim was returned to Israel.
