Five soldiers were wounded, one of them seriously, during a confrontation with terror operatives in southern Gaza's Rafah area. The incident occurred when members of the Golani Brigade's reconnaissance unit encountered several attackers emerging from a tunnel in an Israeli-held zone. According to initial reports, two of the operatives were shot dead, while a third managed to place an explosive device on an armored vehicle before fleeing. In response to the attack, the military launched airstrikes and artillery fire in the vicinity.
