Loitu Mollel, father of Tanzanian hostage Joshua Loitu Mollel, has expressed his gratitude to Israel and its military for their efforts in recovering his son's body from Gaza. In a letter to President Isaac Herzog, Mollel thanked all those involved in locating Joshua's remains and ensuring his return for a proper burial. He also acknowledged the support of organizations advocating for hostages and missing persons. Joshua, who had come to Israel to gain agricultural experience, was killed after being taken hostage by Hamas in October 2023.
