Rainy weather is expected to begin early in the week with local showers and isolated thunderstorms, mainly along the northern coastal plain. Conditions will remain partly cloudy through Tuesday, with the possibility of brief showers in the hills by midday.
A stronger storm system is forecast to arrive on Wednesday, bringing widespread rain and thunderstorms to the north and center, gradually spreading to the northern Negev. Authorities are warning of flooding along the coast and in low-lying areas, as well as the risk of flash floods in the Jordan Valley, Judean Desert, and Dead Sea region.
Rain and gusty winds will continue into Thursday, with flooding risks persisting in vulnerable areas. Temperatures will range from cool to mild across the country, with highs reaching the low twenties Celsius in several cities.
