Pakistan and Indonesia have signed seven new agreements to strengthen cooperation in areas such as trade, education, health, agriculture, and science and technology. The agreements were finalized during the Indonesian president's two-day visit to Islamabad, marking his first official trip since taking office and the first by an Indonesian head of state in seven years. Both leaders emphasized the need to address the significant trade imbalance, with Pakistan seeking to boost its exports and offer medical professionals to Indonesia. The visit also highlighted close coordination on foreign policy issues, including developments in Gaza, and celebrated the seventy-fifth anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
