The Indian Institute of Technology Ropar has launched the '100 Startups 100 Days' initiative as a lead-up to the India AI Impact Summit 2026. This national program, starting December 16 at the IIT Ropar campus, aims to accelerate early-stage startups by providing mentoring, technology access, and innovation support. The initiative is backed by several technology and educational organizations, as well as industry partners, and will focus on nurturing startups in deep-tech fields such as agriculture technology, water technology, and cyber-physical systems. The India AI Impact Summit 2026, set for February in New Delhi, is positioned as a milestone event for India's leadership in digital transformation and responsible artificial intelligence innovation.
