Alissa Zeffren, director of NILI and a teacher at Ida Crown Jewish Academy, shares her experiences guiding students through the aftermath of the events following October 7. As the founder of the Chicago Student to Student program, Alissa has worked to combat antisemitism by training Jewish teens to engage with non-Jewish peers in schools.
