Jodie Marsh has publicly criticized musician Paul Weller after he distanced himself from an online auction of his memorabilia, which Marsh organized to raise funds for her animal sanctuary, Fripps Farm. Weller's official social media stated that the auction items, including a gold disc, signed posters, and concert tickets, were not endorsed by him. Marsh responded on Instagram, suggesting Weller's disassociation was due to her friendship with Nigel Farage, and expressed disappointment over his stance, emphasizing the authenticity of the memorabilia and the urgent need for donations to support her 400 rescued animals.
Marsh, who founded Fripps Farm following the death of her mother in 2020, said her experiences caring for her mother inspired her to pursue her lifelong dream of running an animal sanctuary. She also reflected on her decision to leave the public eye, stating that her true happiness comes from caring for animals rather than maintaining a public profile.
