The school stated that the decision to postpone the visit was due to a planned protest near the grounds that could coincide with the end of the school day, and it has since rearranged the visit and sought police advice. The Palestine Solidarity Bristol group celebrated the cancellation, stating it sent a message to politicians who support Israel's actions in Gaza. The National Education Union and the school have been contacted for further comment.
