Most Palestinian factions, including Hamas and Islamic Jihad, have expressed their support for a newly formed technocratic committee tasked with administering Gaza. This committee, known as the Palestinian National Transitional Committee, was agreed upon following mediation efforts led by Egypt. The Ramallah-based presidency also endorsed the initiative, emphasizing its alignment with the Fatah movement and President Mahmud Abbas. The unified backing from various groups aims to create a suitable environment for the committee to begin its work in governing Gaza.
