A fatal accident on Highway 65 near Sargel Junction in northern Israel claimed the life of a man in his 30s and left four others injured on Thursday evening. Emergency responders pronounced the man dead at the scene despite resuscitation efforts, while the injured were transported to HaEmek Hospital in Afula. The casualties included a woman in her 40s in critical condition, a 25-year-old man with a serious head injury, a 54-year-old man with moderate limb injuries, and another person with minor injuries. Police have begun investigating the cause of the crash and are managing traffic at the site.

Later the same day, a separate accident occurred on Highway 4 near the Holot Interchange, involving three private vehicles. Seven people were hurt in this incident, with one man in serious condition and several others sustaining moderate to light injuries. Medical teams provided treatment and evacuated the injured to hospitals in Holon and Rehovot.
