Barak Bar, a 22-year-old from Afula, lost his life Thursday night while trying to help victims of an earlier traffic accident near Afula. Bar, who had recently finished his service with the Border Police, arrived at the scene with his family to offer assistance when he was struck by a passing vehicle and killed. His father was moderately injured and remains hospitalized, while his sister's boyfriend sustained severe injuries. Another woman involved in the accident later died at the hospital, and several others were injured, with some already released home. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
