The minister condemned ongoing Israeli attacks in southern Lebanon and called for adherence to international resolutions and respect for Lebanese sovereignty. Discussions also addressed the situation on the Lebanese-Syrian border, with Qatar pledging $20 million to support the voluntary return of Syrian refugees, coordinated with Lebanese and Syrian authorities. Meanwhile, United States diplomats met in Jordan to discuss peace efforts, as regional tensions continue to rise.
