Pakistan has achieved a milestone at the world's largest food and beverage trade exhibition, Gulfood, with 142 companies representing the country in the 2026 edition held in Dubai. This record participation highlights Pakistan's ongoing efforts to expand food exports, diversify international markets, and strengthen its presence in global food value chains. The event features over 8,500 exhibitors from 195 countries, making it a key platform for agri-food trade.
Pakistani firms are showcased across four specialized pavilions, with a strong emphasis on rice, pulses, grains, beverages, and meat products. Officials from the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan and the Pakistan mission in Dubai supported exhibitors and facilitated business engagements. International buyers have shown significant interest in a wide range of Pakistani products, signaling positive prospects for export growth.
Pakistan's presence at Gulfood also included participation in the Future Food Summit, where government initiatives to attract investment in agriculture and food processing were highlighted. The country continues to leverage global exhibitions to promote value-added food exports, particularly to Gulf and Middle Eastern markets.
