Fully funded global peace fellowships for mid-career professionals | Pune News - The Times of India

Mid-career professionals dedicated to conflict resolution, public policy, humanitarian action, and social change now have access to a prestigious, fully funded fellowship at the newly inaugurated Rotary Peace Centre at Symbiosis International University in Pune. The one-year postgraduate diploma in peace and development studies is designed for experienced practitioners from Asia or Asian communities, offering a rigorous selection process for up to 40 fellows annually. The programme covers tuition, living expenses, field study costs, and travel, aiming to lower barriers for professionals from diverse backgrounds. The curriculum features a blended learning model, combining academic coursework with hands-on field experiences, and applications for the 2027 intake will open in February 2026. This initiative marks the first Rotary Peace Centre in South Asia, positioning India as a vital hub for peacebuilding education and leadership development.
