'No evidence' of political bias at school that postponed MP's visit

Ofsted has concluded there was no evidence of political bias at Bristol Brunel Academy after the school postponed a visit from Labour Member of Parliament Damien Egan. The visit was cancelled amid concerns that his presence, given his links to Labour Friends of Israel, might inflame tensions among staff and provoke protests. Inspectors found that the decision was based on safeguarding concerns due to a threatened protest, rather than political partiality. The visit has since been rescheduled, and an independent review will be conducted at the request of the Department for Education.
