Congress MP Chamala Kiran Kumar Reddy has strongly criticized KT Rama Rao, accusing him of spreading false propaganda and resorting to cheap tactics ahead of municipal polls in Hyderabad. Responding to allegations linking a recent forensic lab fire to the chief minister, Reddy suggested that KT Rama Rao himself could be behind the incident and accused him of misleading the public. He also claimed that after the previous assembly elections, the leadership of the opposition party destroyed evidence related to phone tapping and other sensitive materials.

Reddy further alleged that KT Rama Rao and his family are attempting to mislead the public through social media and propaganda campaigns, while facing inquiries in the phone-tapping case. He accused the previous government of pushing Telangana into significant debt and urged the opposition leadership to seek forgiveness from the people before requesting votes.
