United States President Donald Trump warned that it would be a 'very bad day' for Iran if a new deal is not reached, saying the country and its people would suffer the consequences. In a social media post, he expressed hope that Iran’s leadership is prepared to negotiate while emphasizing that he alone will decide whether military action is taken.
Trump also rejected media reports claiming that General Daniel Caine opposes potential military action against Iran. He called the reports false and said the general has not argued against war, but would prefer to avoid conflict if possible.
According to Trump, General Caine believes that if military action is ordered, it would be won بسهولة. The president praised the general’s leadership during Operation Midnight Hammer, which targeted Iran’s nuclear facilities during a recent twelve day conflict, describing him as a strong leader who would carry out any directive to victory.
