One of Reform's campaign officials in the Gorton and Denton by-election has been suspended following allegations of racist and antisemitic social media posts. Adam Mitula, who served as interim campaign manager, confirmed his suspension after several days of the party declining to comment.

Evidence published by the anti-racism group Hope Not Hate appeared to show Mitula using a racial slur directed at black people, making derogatory remarks about Jewish women, and expressing agreement with claims that the scale of the Holocaust had been exaggerated. Mitula said the posts were taken out of context and insisted he had been defending the Jewish community. He declined to comment on the racial slur.

The party stated that its disciplinary process is confidential and that it would not provide ongoing updates. The by-election covers more than 76,000 potential voters across Denton in Tameside and the Manchester areas of Gorton, Levenshulme and Burnage.
