Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, met injured teenagers evacuated from Gaza during a visit to Jordan, where they learned about ongoing humanitarian medical efforts. At the Specialty Hospital in Amman, Meghan appeared emotional as she spoke with Jaber, a 17-year-old whose legs were shattered by gunfire and remain supported by a metal frame months after his injury.
The couple also met Maria, a 14-year-old who suffered severe burns and trauma after an explosion killed six members of her family. She lost several toes and continues to receive treatment. Doctors explained that many of the injuries treated at the hospital are the result of war as well as shortages of medical staff and supplies.
The visit highlighted Jordan's initiative to evacuate wounded children and young people from Gaza for urgent care. During their trip, Harry and Meghan also visited the Za'atari refugee camp, where they joined young girls for a football session, sharing lighter moments alongside their focus on the humanitarian crisis.
