Israel and India signed sixteen bilateral memoranda of understanding during a press conference in Jerusalem attended by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The agreements were announced by Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar's office following the meeting at the King David Hotel.
Within the framework of the agreements, Gideon Sa'ar and Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar formalized cooperation in agricultural innovation and advanced technologies. The areas of collaboration include civilian drone usage, satellite data applications, irrigation and fertilization management, pest control, greenhouse cultivation, and the transfer of advanced agricultural knowledge.
The new agreements are aimed at strengthening ties between the two countries, particularly in agriculture and technology, while expanding practical cooperation and knowledge sharing across multiple sectors.
