Qatari Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani said that his country will continue efforts to reduce tensions with Iran, despite recent strains in their relationship. In an interview with Sky News, he emphasized that dialogue with Tehran remains a priority for Doha.

He acknowledged that recent events have significantly shaken trust between the two nations. However, he reiterated Qatar’s commitment to ongoing talks and diplomatic engagement aimed at de-escalation and restoring stability in the region.
