The Palestinian Authority said that 106 pieces of shrapnel from Iranian missiles and suicide drones have landed in towns across the occupied West Bank since late February. The debris fell after Israeli air defense systems intercepted the incoming projectiles.

According to police spokesman Louay Ezriqat, two people were injured and 12 incidents of property damage were recorded. Palestinian police are continuing efforts to secure affected areas and remove dangerous remnants of the intercepted weapons.

The missile and drone launches came after the United States and Israel carried out strikes on Iranian military infrastructure and killed senior leaders. Falling fragments were reported in several areas, including Ramallah and near Jerusalem.
