Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi called for Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara to be barred from attending government meetings, saying she should be prevented from entering the Prime Minister's Office and sent home. Speaking to Kol Barama Radio, Karhi criticized her involvement in government affairs and said it was a mistake that action had not already been taken.

Karhi expressed hope that the next elections would focus on what he described as a struggle against the 'deep state,' legal advisers, and the Supreme Court. He framed the issue as part of a broader political battle over the role of legal authorities in shaping government policy.

Addressing the freeze on the Draft Law, Karhi said he did not understand its connection to the state budget and insisted that the government remains committed to passing the legislation. He described the bill as historic, saying it would formally recognize full-time Torah study while drafting those who are not engaged in religious study. He added that disagreements over the law stem from the ultra-Orthodox parties and legal objections, but maintained that the coalition intends to pass it despite challenges related to the war and budget process.
