Thailand's Transport Ministry says three crew members remain missing after a Thai vessel was struck by unknown projectiles in the Strait of Hormuz. Twenty crew members were rescued after abandoning the ship in a lifeboat.
According to the ministry, an explosion occurred at the stern of the vessel, sparking a fire in the engine compartment. The three missing crew members had been working in that area at the time of the blast.
The rescued crew were picked up by the Omani navy following the incident. Authorities have not yet identified who was responsible for the attack.
