Israel Defense Forces spokesman Brigadier General Effie Defrin said there are currently no changes to civilian safety guidelines despite rumors of heavy rocket fire expected later tonight.
In a statement posted on social media, Defrin addressed growing public speculation and messages from some local authorities warning residents about possible planned rocket attacks. He emphasized that the Home Front Command's defensive policy remains unchanged at this time.
Defrin added that the military is maintaining strong defensive preparations and continues to conduct ongoing assessments of the situation. He said the army will provide updates if any changes to the guidelines become necessary.
