Hezbollah fired at least 150 rockets and multiple drones at northern Israel over several hours on Wednesday evening, marking its largest हमला since hostilities intensified earlier this month. Sirens sounded across the Galilee, Haifa and areas up to 50 kilometers from the Lebanese border, sending hundreds of thousands of residents into shelters. Several impacts caused fires and lightly injured two people, while others were treated for acute anxiety.
At the same time, Iran launched ballistic missiles toward central, northern and southern Israel in what its Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps described as a coordinated and integrated operation with Hezbollah. Israeli air defenses intercepted the الإيراني missiles, though explosions were reported in several areas. Hezbollah said its कार्रवाई was in response to Israeli strikes in لبنان.
In response, the Israeli military carried out extensive airstrikes on Hezbollah strongholds in southern Beirut and other مواقع in Lebanon, targeting rocket launchers and infrastructure. Israeli officials warned that the campaign in Lebanon could expand significantly and that civilian infrastructure could be targeted if the Lebanese government does not act to restrain Hezbollah, raising concerns of a serious escalation in the conflict.
