Qatar has announced the evacuation of several key areas as Iran continues its retaliatory air campaign targeting Gulf countries. The Interior Ministry said the move is a temporary precaution aimed at ensuring public safety until the perceived danger has passed.
In a statement, the ministry confirmed it is clearing specific locations as part of broader safety measures. Authorities emphasized that the evacuations are preventive and intended to protect residents during the heightened tensions.
Residents in Doha’s central Musheireb district reported receiving phone alerts instructing them to evacuate the area immediately and proceed to the nearest safe location. The alerts described the action as a temporary precaution amid ongoing regional developments.
