The Israeli military said it carried out a wave of overnight airstrikes in Tehran, targeting what it described as key Iranian military infrastructure. Among the sites hit was Iran’s primary space research center, which Israeli officials said housed strategic laboratories involved in developing military satellites used for surveillance, targeting, and directing fire across the Middle East.
The strikes also targeted facilities used to manufacture air defense systems, including a central production factory. According to the Israeli military, the attacks significantly reduced Iran’s ability to restore and strengthen its aerial defense capabilities.
