Air defenses in the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait were activated in response to incoming missile and drone attacks, according to official statements. Authorities in both countries said their systems were engaging hostile threats, while there were no immediate reports of casualties.
Bahrain reported that debris from what it described as an Iranian aggression caused a fire at a warehouse. The blaze was brought under control and no injuries were reported, though air raid sirens had been activated earlier.
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said it had launched missiles and drones targeting United States forces at Al Dhafra air base in the United Arab Emirates, as well as sites in Israel. In Saudi Arabia, the defense ministry said its forces intercepted and destroyed 11 drones within less than two hours, preventing damage or casualties.
