The White House said it has been three weeks since the start of the Iran war, an operation that President Donald Trump and the Defense Department had projected would last between four and six weeks. Officials maintain that the mission remains on track as it approaches the midpoint of that timeline.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt stated that from the first day of Operation Epic Fury, the president clearly defined the military's objective as ending the threat posed by Iran’s leadership. She said the armed forces are making steady progress toward that goal.
According to the White House, Iran’s capabilities are being weakened each day, reducing its ability to threaten the United States and its allies. Leavitt emphasized that the president remains focused on achieving what she described as total and complete victory.
