Sapkal claimed that recent trade agreements with the United States could harm India’s agriculture sector and argued that the country’s sovereignty and global image have been affected.
The organisers have also questioned the continued support of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh for the Bharatiya Janata Party amid the controversy. Party leaders said they are completing formalities to seek permission from authorities and expect large scale participation in the march.
