Trump confirms CIA told him Iran's new supreme leader is gay

United States President Donald Trump said he received a briefing from the Central Intelligence Agency stating that Iran's new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, is gay. The claim was first reported by the New York Post, which cited intelligence assessments suggesting that Khamenei's late father, Ali Khamenei, believed his son's sexuality made him unsuitable to succeed him.

According to the report, intelligence officials believe the younger Khamenei had a long-term relationship with his male childhood tutor. When asked in a Fox News interview whether he had been told this by intelligence officials, Trump confirmed that he had, adding that 'a lot of people are saying that,' and suggesting it could complicate Khamenei's standing within Iran.

During the same interview, Trump shifted to criticizing feminist and gay rights supporters who advocate for Palestinians. He questioned their support, arguing that Palestinian authorities punish women and gay people under strict social laws.
