Three Palestinians, including a 15-year-old boy, were killed by Israeli forces in separate incidents across the southern and central West Bank over the past day, according to the Palestinian Authority Health Ministry.
Mustafa Hamad, 22, died from wounds sustained when Israeli forces opened fire near the entrance to the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Kafr Aqab, reportedly wounding three others. Later, during clashes near Qalandiya refugee camp following Hamad’s funeral, 46-year-old Sufian Abu Leil was shot in the head and later died at a hospital in Ramallah.
The Israeli military said troops fired at key instigators involved in disturbances that included stone-throwing near Qalandiya refugee camp, adding that no Israeli forces were injured. In a separate incident south of Bethlehem, 15-year-old Adham Dahman was fatally shot in Dheisheh refugee camp. Another Palestinian was reported wounded in that confrontation.
