Iran has informed the United Nations nuclear watchdog of another strike near the Bushehr nuclear power plant, marking the third such incident in the past 10 days. According to Iranian officials, the operating reactor was not damaged and there was no release of radiation, and the facility continues to function normally.
The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, warned that any attack causing damage to a nuclear reactor could lead to a major radiological incident. He called for maximum military restraint to prevent a potentially serious nuclear safety crisis.
