The Department of Defense has identified four Army Reserve soldiers killed in a drone strike on a command center in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait, amid escalating conflict with Iran. Capt. Cody A. Khork, Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, and Spc. Declan J. Coady were assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command in Des Moines, Iowa. Two additional service members were killed, but their identities have not yet been released.
According to officials, the strike directly hit a makeshift tactical operations center on Sunday morning, causing extensive destruction and leaving no time for troops to seek shelter. While the site had concrete barriers, sources said it lacked adequate protection against drones or missiles. The attack remains under investigation amid questions about the facility’s vulnerability.
President Donald Trump vowed to avenge the fallen, calling them patriots who made the ultimate sacrifice. Military leaders expressed condolences to the families, while friends and community members across several states shared tributes and organized support for the loved ones left behind.
