The Israeli military issued an evacuation warning for a building in Beirut’s southern suburbs, saying it was identified as a site affiliated with Hezbollah. The warning came ahead of a planned airstrike targeting what it described as facilities and interests linked to the group.
A military spokesman published a map highlighting the specific building and urged residents to leave immediately. He instructed those in the targeted structure and nearby buildings to move at least 300 meters away for their safety.
The area is known as a stronghold of Hezbollah, and the statement said the military would operate forcefully against the identified site in the near term.
