Ballistic missile attacks launched by Iran have dropped by 90 percent since the first day of the war between the United States, Israel, and Iran, according to the head of United States Central Command, Admiral Brad Cooper. He shared the update while speaking to reporters about the current state of the conflict.
Cooper said military operations against Iran’s naval forces have intensified, with United States forces sinking more than 30 Iranian vessels so far. Among them was an Iranian drone carrier ship roughly the size of a Second World War aircraft carrier, which he said was still burning at the time of his remarks.
Earlier this year, Cooper took part in indirect talks between the United States and Iran in Oman. He attended in full dress uniform, signaling a visible display of American military presence in the region.
