Hezbollah lawmaker Ibrahim al-Moussawi said the group will respect a ceasefire with Israel announced by United States President Donald Trump, provided that Israeli attacks against Hezbollah come to a complete halt.

Al-Moussawi stated that Hezbollah’s adherence to the truce depends on Israel refraining from further hostilities, including targeted killings. He emphasized that the ceasefire must represent a comprehensive end to aggression rather than an opportunity for additional military actions.

He also expressed gratitude to Iran, saying its pressure in Lebanon’s favor was instrumental in achieving the ceasefire. According to al-Moussawi, the agreement would not have been possible without Iran treating the ceasefire as strategically significant.
