Qatar Airways has resumed its Nagpur to Doha service after a suspension caused by the Middle East conflict. The first flight landed in Nagpur on Thursday morning with 45 passengers on board, including one foreign national of Indian origin holding a lifetime visa. The return flight departed with 60 passengers, again including one such traveler.
Although passenger numbers were below the aircraft’s capacity, travel industry sources expect demand to grow in the coming weeks. The airline will operate the route five times a week, offering a convenient connection for travelers heading to Europe.
Qatar Airways is one of two carriers operating international services from Nagpur, alongside Air Arabia, which flies to Sharjah. With both services now restored, travel agents are calling for additional international routes from Nagpur, particularly to eastern destinations such as Singapore and Thailand.
